Instead of asking ourselves what we can acquire from the world, we should be asking what we can give. When we do, the experience changes our perspective.Read more..

This was it. Nothing else. What could I say?
She probably had my response anyway.
Some preconceived notion she already had.
It wouldn't have mattered, I was already sad.
So what? No kidding. I, at least, had tried. No more, no less.
The part of me rejected had already died.
Rejection is a bitch. There we are... not close.
Do we invite rejection in like a heavenly host?
I decided once to go one with my life.
To wade through the stream that brought me much strife.
Going out on my feet or out on my knees,
this was a thought that brought me to please.
"On my feet", I once said.
And this very notion did not bring me dread.
I long for life, even after I'm gone.
My very being becoming strong.
No one can take me more than away,
my heart, mind, and soul are here to stay.
No fine face-to-face.
No heartfelt good-bye.
Just a note on the table,
so the memories would die.
I say move on, move forward.
That's fine by me.
Here's to life, love, and freedom.
So May It Ever Be!
We don't see things the way they are. We see things the way WE are.
Our senses bombard our brain with about 10 billion bits of information per second. We process about 40 bits of information per second. What our brains accesses is dictated by filters that are combinations of our values and beliefs and our memories.
About 90 percent of the memories we hold are inaccurate. This means that the most of the memories we have were not "seen" correctly. If we could compare our memories to actual films of what really happened in those moments, we would be in state of shock.
We all respond to our own unique map of the world. Many times the maps of others do not make sense to us.
"Far away is close at hand in images elsewhere."
To go deeper, many of our thoughts are not our own. Many of our beliefs were given to us by family, society, and culture. Until we are about seven years old our minds soak up so much information without using a filter to determine what is right and wrong. We are literally programmed by out environment.
Defining ourselves as opposed to being defined by others is one of the most difficult challenges we face. To really live we must be true to ourselves. Too often we remain in a comfort zone. When we do this we deny ourselves of the true potential we're made of.
Don't try to conform the world to your beliefs. Dare to be different.
There are two currents of energy that are constantly moving past us. One helps us keep the peace and stay anchored and the other prompts us to go on a self-centered "me" trip.
The first and most essential piece of wisdom is to find peace internally. We must learn to accept ourselves and to recognize the gifts we possess.
These gifts are double. They are the blessngs that count in our lives and the inner qualities and talents we were given. Life is a journey through which the Light has given us many presents.
Make a list of all the great things we have and the good we can bring to others. We are in for very pleasant surprises.
Let's simply reconnect with our own true spirit, the one which allows us to dream big and love life.Read more..
There is a "thinking stuff" from which all things are made, and which in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the universe's interspaces.
A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
We can form things in this thought, and by impressing this thought upon formless substance, we can cause the thing we think about to be created.Read more..

A wise use of energy to chart our direction is to realize all we can be as individuals, and holding that vision in the moment. This is infinitely more powerful than hashing over details.
Our mind is a complex structure that can be our very best friend or worst enemy, when it comes to happiness.
Success is the ability to ride any disappointment like a wave and learn to enjoy the ocean.
We feel joy, love, and trust will be our constant companions. This allows us to rule our world and to be one with the world.
